EMIS Project Manager

Environmental Data Solutions Group, LLC (EDSG) is looking for an energetic team player with experience in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety (EHS) compliance and/or technical experience with database software implementation. EDSG is a growing company that specializes in EHS Consulting, focusing specifically on the design and deployment of EHS Management Information Systems (EMIS's).

The primary focus of the EMIS Project Manager position includes:

• Manage and/or participate in projects from strategic planning/requirements analysis to system design and estimation, including commercial software/vendor evaluations
• Actively lead and/or participate in technical configuration/deployment of new EMISs
• Be the primary client project interface and participate in the growth of clients and vertical sectors

The qualified candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent organization and communication skills with demonstrated willingness and desire to work technical issues to resolution. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel periodically and will have experience/technical skills in some or all of the following areas:

• General EHS compliance issues
• EMIS and/or other software business analysis, prioritization and strategic planning
• EMIS and/or other software requirements analysis and system design
• Configuration/deployment of EMIS and/or general commercial software applications
• Knowledge of IT project management processes and/or software lifecycles
• MS Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MS Project
• Technical writing
